Spiky Dragon Driftwood Mountain Layout in a 60cm CADE Tank
A dramatic mountain style layout built by Jag Aquatics in a 60 cm CADE tank. Tall, jagged pieces of dragon driftwood are stacked in rows so the spikes climb from the front of the tank to the back, and the deep holes and ridges in the wood give the whole scape a weathered, rugged look.
About the build
A winding sand path runs up through the middle, pulling the eye into the layout and adding real depth, while smaller pieces packed around the base tie everything together into one natural looking mountain range. These photos show the scape at the hardscape stage, before planting and filling, so you can see how the wood was built up.
