Spider Wood Red Sand Scape in a 90cm CADE Tank
A spider wood layout built by Jag Aquatics in a 90 cm CADE tank. Dozens of fine spider wood branches sweep up from a bed of dark stone and reach out across the tank, building into a tall, airy peak on the right and tapering down towards the left.
About the build
The warm red sand picks up the colour of the wood and makes a striking contrast with the dark stone, while the open foreground keeps the layout feeling light and gives fish room to swim. These photos show the scape at the hardscape stage, before planting and filling, so you can see how the wood and stone were put together.
