Natural Driftwood and Lava Rock Hardscape
A natural style hardscape piece by Jag Aquatics, built from a selection of fine, twisting driftwood and a large, rugged lava rock.
About the build
Dark branches are layered over and around the rock so they sweep out to one side and reach up in a sharp, wind blown shape, while the rough, earthy texture of the lava stone gives the whole piece a solid base and a lovely contrast against the smooth timber. Built and fixed together as one unit on a flat base, it can be lifted straight into an aquarium as a ready made centrepiece and dressed with moss and plants to bring it to life.
