Misty Mountain Paludarium
A small misty mountain paludarium by Jag Aquatics, built to capture the feel of a towering peak rising out of the clouds. Jagged stone is stacked into a tall, craggy mountain with fine, dark roots wrapped over the rock like ancient vines, and the whole structure was built up outside the tank first so every piece could be placed and fixed exactly.
About the build
Once inside, lush moss was added to the ledges and roots to bring the mountain to life, and a mist maker sends a soft blanket of fog rolling around the base and through a hidden valley at the back, creating a calm, magical scene that changes as the mist drifts. A compact build that brings a little piece of the mountains indoors.
